1. Exceptional Circumstances for Refunds
We understand that technology can occasionally experience hitches. We will review and honor refund requests exclusively in the following specific scenarios:
- System Failure / Technical Issues: If a proven technical error or system glitch on our website entirely prevents you from accessing the e-magazine platform, and our technical support team is unable to resolve the issue within 72 hours of you reporting it.
- Accidental Duplicate Billing: If our payment system processes a transaction multiple times due to a server connection timeout or API latency, resulting in you being charged twice for the exact same membership plan. In this case, the duplicate payment will be fully refunded.
2. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will strictly not be issued under circumstances including, but not limited to:
- Change of mind or personal preference regarding the editorial style or topics covered in the articles.
- Inability to read the magazine due to incompatible or outdated software/devices on the user's end.
- Failure to download or view the magazine within your membership window due to lack of time.
3. Timeline and Process
To request an exceptional refund under the terms listed in Section 1, please follow this process:
- Submit an official request via email to editor@thefarmscience.com within 7 days of your transaction date. Requests sent after 7 days will not be entertained.
- Please include your Razorpay Payment ID (sent to you via email upon purchase confirmation) and a brief description or screenshot of the technical error encountered.
- Approved refunds will be processed directly back to your original payment method (bank account, card, or UPI ID) via the Razorpay gateway within 5 to 7 working days, as per standard banking settlement cycles.
